Hours: Monday to Friday with every other Saturday morning

About Us:

We are recruiting for a well-established builders merchant located in Crewe, dedicated to providing high-quality building materials and exceptional service to their customers. They are looking for a skilled HIAB Driver to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Role Overview:

As a HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers’ sites. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong attention to safety, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a HIAB vehicle for the delivery of building materials.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various customer locations.
• Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane.
• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 license.
• HIAB certification and experience.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
• Competitive salary. Pay rate for the first 12 weeks will be £15.69ph (inclusive of holiday pay)
