Driver Hire Romford is seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV driver with HIAB to deliver welfare equipment, portable toilets and temporary site units across London and surrounding areas. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, load and secure loads, run safety checks, complete paperwork accurately and liaise professionally with customers and site managers.

The role requires a current UK Cat C licence, HIAB qualification, up-to-date CPC and a clean driving record.

Competenze

A current and valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) Driving Licence.
HIAB/lorry loader qualification and relevant experience.
Clean UK driving record with up to 6 penalty points.
Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
Minimum 2 years HGV licence holding with HIAB experience.
Experience delivering to construction or welfare sites is a plus.

Mansioni

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV with HIAB/crane to deliver and collect welfare equipment.
Deliver portable toilets, welfare units and related products.
Carry out multi-drop deliveries, including London routes.
Load, unload and secure equipment safely and correctly.
Operate HIAB/crane safely and position equipment on site.
Check loads are secure before transport and complete paperwork accurately.
Liaise with customers, site managers and internal teams professionally.
Plan efficient routes using knowledge of local areas and London.
Carry out vehicle and HIAB safety checks and report defects.
Maintain high standards of health & safety and keep vehicle tidy.
