Job Description:

Berry Recruitment is seeking 2 HGV Class 2 Drivers for our well-established client based in Richmond. The pay rate is £15.85 per hour, with working hours from 6am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.

As a HGV Driver in refuse collection, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out refuse and recycling collections daily, with knowledge of all machinery involved
• Performing duties professionally, using safe lifting and handling techniques
• Using in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
• Completing relevant paperwork in real-time
• Conducting daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles
• Ensuring cleanliness of machinery and vehicles
• Maintaining excellent customer and client relations, especially with the public and other road users

Requirements include:

• A valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
• A driver CPC
• Willingness to assist refuse loaders to complete routes within service levels
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and willing to undertake tasks
