Job summary

CCF, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is hiring a Class 2 HGV driver for the Newcastle/Gateshead area. Enjoy sociable hours from Monday to Friday, 6am to 3:30pm, with no evenings or overnights, and MOFFETT forklift loading training.

You will move plasterboard and insulation between branches to customers, with a focus on safe, efficient loading and multi-drop routes, reporting to the branch team. Previous HGV experience and CPC are required.

Qualifications

• Category C licence, up-to-date CPC records, and recent HGV experience.
• Comfortable chatting with customers, building new relationships, and keeping regulars happy.
• Safety is a priority; ensuring everything is done right and securely.
• Passion for delivering top service and representing the company well.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and move plasterboard and insulation between branches to customers.
• Load and unload safely using a MOFFETT forklift (training provided if needed).
• Multi-drop role with reloads at the branch before next trip.
