Job summary

The NWH Group is seeking a Class 2 HGV Skip/Hook Driver to join our team in Scotland. You will safely operate skip/hook vehicles on scheduled routes, load/unload, and transport skips and containers while maintaining daily vehicle checks and logs.

We prioritise safety and customer service, offer comprehensive training, and provide uniform and PPE. Weekly pay and opportunities for career progression support your work-life goals.

Qualifications

• A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• A great attitude and commitment to performing the job to the highest standard.
• Previous waste/recycling driving experience is preferred, but not essential - we provide comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating skip/ hook vehicles on scheduled routes.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting skips and containers.
• Conducting daily safety and vehicle checks; keeping vehicle logs updated.
• Following road safety laws and company policies at all times.
• Delivering excellent customer service at collection/delivery points.
