Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals invites applications for an HGV Driver in the United Kingdom. You will ensure timely collections and deliveries from customer sites while meeting or exceeding customer expectations, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

You will operate commercial vehicles, check safety before journeys, load and unload loads securely, visit customer premises, and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must have category C driving license with ≤6 points.
• CPC certification is mandatory.
• Tachograph card is required.
• Proactive safety mindset for company vehicles and drivers.
• A polite, professional manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good knowledge of geography and industry experience is desirable.
• Ability to use IT systems is desirable.
• FORS compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys; secure loads.
• Visit customer locations and communicate with customers.
• Comply with legal and company safety and working time regulations.
