HGV Class 2 Driver

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our successful client based in the Norwich NR5 area. Our client, who specializes in Waste Management, is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

A minimum of 3 months experience within the last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour, weekly pay in arrears, every Friday

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 6.00 am till 3pm

HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely

HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Person Specification

• UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Good team working skills and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
