Job summary

Marshalls plc is seeking a Class 2 Driver for its Bedford plant. You will deliver mortar to local building sites, acting as the face of Marshalls Mortars & Screeds with a can-do attitude and strong customer service.

You will operate 4-axle 32t rigid POD, Auger Tipper and Mixer trucks with automatic gearboxes, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and comply with health and safety requirements. Flexible hours and occasional Saturdays are required.

Qualifications

• Current Class 2 HGV licence with no restrictions and up to 3 points
• Current Drivers CPC card
• Experience operating Mixer or Pod trucks is advantageous with full training provided
• Excellent English communication and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver mortar to building sites in the local area as the first face-to-face contact
• Operate Pod and Mixer vehicles, maintaining and cleaning them daily
• Ensure punctual deliveries and adhere to health and safety standards
• Be flexible with day hours and alternate Saturdays
