Job description

We are looking for a permanent Class 2 Driver for a builders merchant with multiple locations in Aberdeen/Shire. You can be based from either Westhill or Inverurie. The successful candidate will be transporting a wide range of construction materials to construction sites, business premises, and households.
Core Shift: 0700 - 1700 Mon - Fri, with occasional half days on Sat's.
Responsibilities:

1. Operate HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
2. Deliver goods to designated locations, maintaining accurate delivery records.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
4. Manage flatbed loads securely, adhering to weight limits and safety standards.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.

HIAB ticket is preferred but not essential as there will be training to operate the HIAB and ultimately obtain their certificate.
Pay: Typical working week example - £667.58 - £744.98 gross, which equates to £34,714 - £38,738 per annum. This is a combination of core shift hours and OT.
