Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester & Sudbury is actively recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for ongoing work with a valued client. The role offers immediate starts, flexible shifts, and weekly pay, with competitive hourly rates.

Typical duties include safe deliveries, daily vehicle checks, accurate paperwork, regulatory compliance and delivering excellent customer service. Previous Class 2 experience is preferred and licences/cards must be valid.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery of goods to customer locations.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
