Job summary

Driver Hire Colchester & Sudbury is currently seeking experienced Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for ongoing work with a valued client. The position offers great earning potential with immediate starts and regular shifts.

Pay rates are £16.25 per hour PAYE or £19.28 per hour Umbrella, with ongoing, regular work and flexible shifts. Weekly pay and immediate starts are available for qualified drivers meeting the licence and CPC requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely delivery of goods to customer locations.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Complying with all driving regulations and company procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service.
