Offering a friendly team, a competitive rate of pay, and a secure position within an established company, we are looking for a positive and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Halstead, Essex.

Brooks Transport Services Ltd is a family-owned company with over forty years of experience operating in the fast-moving commercial and consumer goods environment, including the high-end, high-value product sectors. We offer clients a comprehensive service, where customer service is at the forefront and without compromise.

Responsibilities: Class 2 HGV Driver:

1. You will be delivering and collecting goods on a UK Distribution operation; loading the vehicle to match the order of drop-off points.
2. The routes will involve NIGHTS OUT two to three nights per week.
3. Planning and driving the route to ensure deliveries are made on time; unloading goods.
4. Collecting signatures on delivery and providing invoices, updating delivery records, vehicle records, and Drivers Hours records.
5. Recording mileage and fuel payments.
6. This position is for 48 hours per week, but overtime will be expected.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver who is passionate about what they do, innovative with their ideas, and strives to provide a premier transport solution. You must have the following:

1. Current HGV Licence.
2. Digital Tacograph.
3. Driver CPC Card.
4. Previous relevant experience is essential.
5. Ability to work efficiently, with a positive outlook.
6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer care skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and self-sufficient.
