Qube Recruitment in Southampton is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy drinks distribution operation. You will deliver alcohol and drinks to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries, working with a Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Typical shifts are 8–9 hours with a driver+mate setup. You will perform vehicle checks and maintain a professional customer service standard while adhering to safety requirements.

Formación

• Class 2 (Category C) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good customer service and handball/manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and professional; able to work in Driver + Driver's Mate team.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver alcohol and drinks to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries in Southampton.
• Work as part of Driver + Driver's Mate team to complete deliveries.
• Perform handball and manual handling as required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and safe.

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Hounslow. The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area. The RoleDelivering alcohol and drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team Deliveries are completed using a handball method, involving regular manual handling Typically 8–9 hour shifts Job & Finish – once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently Providing a professional and friendly service to customers Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe

Training & InductionAll successful drivers will complete:

• Classroom-based induction
• Driving assessment
• Full familiarisation with the delivery process and requirements
• Support and guidance before going out on deliveries independently

RequirementsValid

• Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with handball and manual handling
• Good customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Able to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team
