Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a drinks distribution operation near Heathrow. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, early starts and a comprehensive induction.

You will deliver to hotels, restaurants, pubs, and clubs across London and surrounding counties, using an 18-tonne rigid vehicle in a two-person crew. Ideal candidates hold a valid Category C licence, CPC and Tachograph card, have at least 12 months of Class 2

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Minimum 12 months commercial Class 2 driving experience.
• Hold a valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have no more than 3 penalty points on licence.
• Live within commuting distance of TW5 9QB due to 6:00am start.
• Be physically capable of demanding deliveries.
• Good communication and numerical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to hospitality customers.
• Operate an 18-tonne rigid vehicle.
• Complete up to 16 deliveries per day (route dependent).
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily vehicle and delivery documentation.
• Make in-vehicle entries and maintain records.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Assist with unloading of goods at customer premises.

Class 2 Driver

Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers in partnership with XPO & a leading drinks distribution business based near Heathrow, pay rate starting at £20.00 per hour.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for a permanent Monday to Friday role with no weekend working and the chance to become part of a well-established delivery operation.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering drinks products to hotels, restaurants, pubs and clubs across London, the M25 corridor, Kent and Essex.

Working as part of a two-person crew alongside a Driver's Mate, you will play an active role in both the delivery and unloading process.

Duties Include:

• Multi-drop deliveries to hospitality customers
• Operating an 18-tonne rigid vehicle
• Completing up to 16 deliveries per day (route dependent)
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing daily vehicle and delivery documentation
• Making manual daily entries using an in-vehicle system
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Assisting with the unloading of goods at customer premises

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months commercial Class 2 driving experience
• Hold a valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have no more than 3 penalty points on their licence
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of TW5 9QB due to the 6:00am start time
• Be comfortable carrying out physically demanding deliveries
• Have good communication and numerical skills

Essential Assessments

Successful applicants will be required to pass:

• Licence verification checks
• Maths assessment
• English assessment
• Tachograph proficiency test

PPE Requirements

Drivers must have:

• High Visibility Vest
• Safety Boots compliant with EN ISO 20345 S3 SRC standards

Training & Induction

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive two-week induction and training programme before commencing full duties.
