Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Class 2 Dust Cart Driver in Epping, Essex for a temporary assignment, paying up to £18 per hour. Roles involve solo driving on planned routes, with early start shifts and one Saturday per month at a premium rate.

You will perform vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain strict safety and compliance standards. The role requires a valid UK HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph card, with reliable customer service and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned collection routes.
• Working independently without loaders or drivers' mates.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Adhering to all driver hours, road transport, and health and safety regulations.
• Delivering excellent customer service when interacting with residents and businesses.
