Overview

Thrive Group are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers on a temporary to permanent basis, with a view to start immediately.

These positions are located in Gloucester city Centre, Gloucestershire. Please note that you must have your own transport or live in walking/cycling distance to this area as there is no public transport available this early.

Job Details

These are full-time positions, working 07:00 am to 15:00, Monday to Friday, paying £16.62 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class 2 waste collection vehicle across designated routes in built up areas.
• Lead and work as part of a small team of loaders to complete daily collection rounds.
• Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, driving regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with loading duties where required.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Have a valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence.
• Have a valid Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Willing to undertake manual work, help and lead your team, and work in all types of weather.
