Job summary

Flexistaff Solutions Ltd invites applications from experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a client based in Dunstable. The role offers local deliveries, early starts (06:00–07:30) and a Monday–Friday schedule with consistent, ongoing work and potential for permanent employment directly with the client.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of HGV Class 2 experience, a Category C licence, Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Completing approximately 10–20 local deliveries per day.
• Delivering goods using cages and pallets.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.
• Complying with all road transport regulations and company procedures.
