Job summary

Driver Hire Runcorn & Widnes in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a well-established haulage operation on a temp-to-perm basis. Expect around 10-hour shifts delivering palletised loads across the region with minimal unloading.

You will operate curtain-sided Class 2 vehicles, carry a valid CPC and Tachograph, and maintain a professional, reliable attitude. Peninsula shifts start early with weekday work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries across the region.
• Driving Class 2 curtain-sided vehicles.
• Transporting fully palletised loads.
• Very little unloading required.
• Occasional use of a pump truck when necessary.
• Delivering for a variety of customers, including major brands such as FedEx and Morrisons.
• Approx. 10-hour shifts.
