Job summary

James Latham is recruiting a Class 2 Driver and Warehouse Operative for our Hemel Hempstead depot. You will deliver timber products and perform warehouse tasks such as order picking, goods inwards, and loading lorries, with forklift operation where needed.

The role requires a motivated, flexible candidate with excellent customer service. Training is provided, and early morning starts are common. Experience with timber products is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
• Ability to perform manual handling and forklift operations.
• Flexibility with early morning starts is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 deliveries, including timber products, with a mix of mechanical and manual offload.
• Carry out warehouse duties: picking orders, goods inwards, loading lorries and forklift operation.
• Support stock control and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
