Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK road regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle (preferred) however newly passed considered.
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle checks and delivery documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physically able to load/unload goods.
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (C) vehicle in a safe and compliant manner.
• Complete daily delivery and collection routes efficiently.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects promptly.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and handled with care.
• Follow all relevant driving regulations, company procedures, and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate records as required, including delivery documentation.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site staff at all times.
• Adhere to working time and tachograph rules, ensuring full compliance.
