Job description

Location: West Bromwich
Working Hours: Full-Time - Temporary to Permanent working 05:00AM - 16:00PM Monday to Thursday + 05:00AM - 15:00PM Fridays
Salary: £14.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

Full UK Class 2 licence
Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
Minimum 12 months' experience preferred
Strong understanding of driver regulations and road safety

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off vehicles to deliver and collect containers at various job sites.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of containers, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents that may occur during operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries or concerns professionally.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll off or flatbed vehicles.
• Strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate various routes efficiently while adhering to time constraints.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• A commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of driving and operations.
