Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience required.
• HIAB certification preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading.

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Dungannon,

Job Type: Full-Time, 4-6 weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM start - 17.00 PM

£14.30 ph

£15.30 ph (with Hiab)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at a busy builders merchants in Dungannon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to trade and domestic customers across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver building materials to customer sites.

Perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition.

Load and unload materials using a HIAB crane (if licensed).

Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records.

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Comply with all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety standards.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.

Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.

HIAB certification (preferred but not essential).

Good knowledge of local and regional routes.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading.
