Class 2 Driver – Permanent Role (Multidrop with Overnight Stays)

Basildon

£30,043 per annum + £25.50 per night (overnight allowance)

Start times typically from 4am | Overnight stays required

We’re seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a long-established distribution business based in Basildon on a permanent contract.

Start times are typically 4:00am. Following an overnight stay, the next shift must not begin before 6:00am unless specifically authorised.

Key Details:

• Nationwide multidrop deliveries and collections
• All trucks fitted with sleeper cabs and tail lifts
• Overnight rest taken at designated truck parks
• Expense forms must be completed with valid receipts
• Start times: 4am day one / 6am minimum post-overnight

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• 2 years’ Driving experience
• Previous multidrop experience preferred
• Flexibility to stay away overnight as standard
• International driving experience (beneficial but not essential)
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and understanding of driver compliance
