Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for day shifts based at Birtley. You will deliver palletised goods across the North East, performing multi-drop routes for commercial and residential clients, with a focus on punctual, professional service.

You will be responsible for safe loading/unloading with tail lift and pallet truck, daily vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork. The role offers daytime hours, temporary-to-permanent potential, and a supportive transport

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience desirable.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to commercial and residential customers.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries across the North East and surrounding areas.
• Safely load and unload pallets using a tail lift and pallet truck.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining delivery schedules.
