Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting Class 2 Driver roles at our Widnes site. These are temp-to-perm positions with 10–12 hour shifts and start times from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am, offering days Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat patterns. You will undertake multidrop deliveries to customer sites across the Northwest and Cumbria.

You must have an HGV2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with no more than six points. Good knowledge of the UK road network and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have multidrop delivery experience.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• Multidrop delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites.
• On a typical shift you will carry out 1-6 drops.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• Will be delivering fresh produce to client sites across the Northwest and up as far as Cumbria.
• Trailers will be loaded by the client but will need to be unloaded at each drop, where roll cages will need to be pulled into designated areas at each depot.
• Ensure paperwork is all completed and signed off before leaving each site.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, ensure the load is secured correctly and compliance with VOSA.
