Job summary

The Pallet Network Ltd in Crawley Down is seeking an experienced driver to manage multi-drop collections and deliveries across customer locations. You will ensure accurate PODs, perform daily vehicle checks, and comply with tachograph regulations and drivers’ hours.

The role requires strong safety awareness and professional communication. Ideally you have a Class 2 (Category C) licence, UK Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with knowledge of transport legislation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid UK Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good working knowledge of transport legislation and drivers’ hours.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Multi-drop experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop collections and deliveries to customer locations.
• Accurately complete paperwork and Proof of Delivery (PODs).
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Comply with tachograph rules, drivers’ hours, and the Road Transport Directive.
• Ensure vehicle and load security at all times.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
