Driver Hire Gloucester is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a Monday-to-Friday role based in Gloucestershire. The position offers regular overtime with earnings typical of £800–£917 per week and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver kitchen products UK-wide, load/unload goods, and ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while maintaining high service standards and professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driver licence (Cat C) is required.
• Licence held for at least 1 year is required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Experience driving vehicles from 3.5t to 18t is required.
• Knowledge of tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations is essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Reliable, professional and punctual behaviour is essential.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Age 25+ is required for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Delivering customer orders safely and on time.
• Loading and unloading kitchen products.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork.
• Reporting shortages, damages or delivery issues.
• Dealing professionally with customers at delivery locations.
• Resolving issues where possible and reporting anything that needs further attention.
• Providing customer feedback.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ensuring the company is represented positively at all times.
• Complying with tachograph, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation.
