We have a fantastic opportunity for you to play a vital role within a global engineering company as an HGV Class 2 driver. You will be at the forefront, ensuring timely delivery of vital equipment for key projects while representing our organisation in every interaction.

  • Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm, with flexibility
  • Nights Away: Up to 4 per week, with an immediate payment of £40 per stay

Location:

  • Based at our Alton, Hampshire depot
  • Stability, pension, stay away bonus, expenses, overtime paid at time and a half, high and achievable OTE

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • Deliver and collect products safely, securely, efficiently, and effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all driving standards
  • Maintain a professional manner in all interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload the vehicle
  • Act as a relief driver, covering various vehicles as needed
  • Secure and protect equipment on the vehicle
  • Communicate with the Transport Manager and customers to ensure timely delivery
  • Adhere to all legislation, including Tacho and DSA standards
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks
  • Maintain a positive image of the brand
  • Ensure vehicle compliance requirements are met

What You Bring:

  • Full driving license
  • Valid CPC and Tacho
  • Flexibility, enjoyment in meeting new people, and travelling to various locations
