Job summary

Driver Hire - Bolton & Wigan is recruiting 2 experienced Class 2 (Category C) drivers for a client based in Bury. This ongoing role offers a temp-to-perm path and weekly pay. You will deliver goods, strap loads, complete daily vehicle checks, and provide excellent service.

The ideal candidate holds a Full UK Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph Card, with at least 6 months' experience and good communication skills. This position is a hands-on driving role requiring physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience using ratchet straps.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no CD, DD, DG, DR, IN or TT endorsements.
• Good communication skills and physically fit for manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle.
• Deliver goods to customers.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
