Job summary

Driver Hire - Bolton & Wigan is seeking 2 experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a client in Bury. The role is ongoing with a permanent position for the right candidates, offering weekly pay and immediate starts.

Requirements include a Full UK Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 6 months of Class 2 experience. You will deliver goods, secure loads, and assist with loading as needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (C) licence and Driver CPC.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience using ratchet straps.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no CD, DD, DG, DR, IN or TT endorsements.
• Good communication and physically fit for manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle.
• Deliver goods to customers.
• Secure loads with ratchet straps.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
