Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for our clients in Bolton & Wigan. The role involves multi-drop deliveries. To qualify, candidates must have held their HGV Class 2 license for at least 1 year and have 90 days of driving experience within that period. Applications with 9 or more points on their license or endorsements such as DR, CD, or DG will not be accepted.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver products to customers safely and on schedule
2. Complete necessary documentation like delivery notes, credits, and collections
3. Comply with all driving laws and working time regulations
4. Follow health and safety procedures, ensuring safety for oneself and others
5. Adhere to food safety legislation and chill chain standards
6. Maintain the LGV, perform safety checks, and complete defect reports
7. Collect empty equipment from customers
8. Participate in driver debriefs and perform additional duties as assigned by management

We offer options for weekly holiday accrual payments, increasing hourly earnings from £14.00 – £18.00 to £15.69 – £20.17.

Please note, we only accept PAYE and PAYE Advanced drivers for this role; LTD drivers are not eligible.
