About the role

Contracts available: 3, 4, and 5 days per week; full and part-time options. Overtime opportunities are also available. Fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our Fareham Distribution Centre. The role involves working 30, 40, or 45 hours per week across various shift patterns, including weekends, depending on the rota. The job entails manual handling and working outdoors in different weather conditions, including some handballing at delivery points. All candidates must undergo drug and alcohol testing pre-employment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Safely delivering stock to independent retailer stores.
• Completing multiple deliveries daily, with variations.
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is accurately completed.
• Maintaining vehicle condition at the start and end of shifts.
• Working independently and as part of the transport team.

Requirements

Essential:

• Class 2 Licence
• Driver CPC certification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries; food delivery experience preferred but not essential
• Availability to work 30, 40, or 45 hours per week, with flexibility for short-notice changes
• No more than 6 points on your driving license, and no recent convictions for careless driving, mobile phone use, drink driving, or failure to comply with 'Construction and Use' laws.

Routes vary daily, requiring flexibility in work hours and days.
