HGV Class 2 Driver - Erith, Dartford & Belvedere - £16.75 - £17.50 per hour

Are you a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for work in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas?

Are you ready to hit the road with a leading agency? Pertemps is on the lookout for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join our team and work with fantastic clients in the Erith, Dartford, and Belvedere areas!

Pay Rate: £16.75 - £17.50 per hour (depending on client and shift)

Responsibilities include:

1. Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently.
2. Performing multi-drop deliveries to various locations.
3. Completing necessary paperwork and adhering to delivery schedules.
4. Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
5. Maintaining a professional attitude while representing our agency and our clients.
6. Adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
7. Manual handling in some cases.

Requirements:

1. Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
2. Minimum 1.5 years experience.
3. Valid Driver CPC qualification.
4. Digital tachograph card.
5. Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
6. Reliable and punctual with excellent timekeeping.
7. Good communication skills.
8. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
9. Previous experience as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
10. No more than 6 penalty points on your license (for minor offences).
