Job summary

VTA Recruitment Ltd is seeking two reliable Class 2 HGV drivers for a busy nationwide kitchen delivery operation in Dukinfield. The role runs Monday to Friday with early starts, involving loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and accurate paperwork.

Applicants should hold a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, with a good grasp of drivers hours and health and safety rules. Immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C / Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Comfortable with manual handling and a physically demanding role
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Previous Class 2 delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on nationwide delivery routes
• Delivering kitchens to customer and site locations
• Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and securely
• Providing a professional service at delivery points
• Working in line with drivers’ hours, tachograph and health and safety regulations
