About the role

Overtime opportunities are available. Fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

We are recruiting Class 2 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. Your main responsibility will be the safe delivery of stock to independent retailers' stores.

This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in various weather conditions, including handballing products at delivery points.

As a driver, you will deliver caged goods to retailers and may return with backhauls to the depot. The role requires physical ability to move cages and lift goods.

We are looking for experienced Class 2 drivers based at our Booker Retail Partners site in Bellshill, Scotland. The schedule is 48 hours per week, with four 12-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, including night outs on Monday and Thursday.

You will need

• A Class 2 Licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries; temperature-controlled food delivery experience is preferred but not essential
• Availability to work 48 hours a week, with flexibility for short-notice changes
