Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

About the role:

We are recruiting for multiple Class 2 Drivers to join our team. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, involving:

Role Responsibilities:

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Using local region knowledge to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving legislation.
• Knowledge of the local region.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, with full training provided during induction.
