Job summary

The Best Connection in Weybridge is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy regional logistics operation. You will transport coins and cash to supermarkets across the allocated area, with a typical 50-hour week and overtime paid at time and a half. Shifts run 05:00-15:00 with a 1-hour paid break.

Full training is provided, and there is a Temp to Perm opportunity. A company mobile phone is provided, and the role offers ongoing, full-time work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Cat C licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• Previous Class 2 experience desirable
• Reliable and professional approach
• Good communication skills
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences

Responsibilities

• You will be driving a Class 2 vehicle to supermarkets across the allocated area, carrying out approximately 10-12 collections per day.
• Collecting coins/cash from machines at supermarkets.
• Safely securing and transporting collections.
• Returning collected coins to Dagenham for processing.
• Completing vehicle checks and following all relevant safety and security procedures.
• Communicating with the transport team throughout the day.

The Best Connection (Staines) are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Weybridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for a £37,500 annual salary, with overtime paid on top, and the potential to secure a Temp to Perm position.

THE PACKAGE

• £37,500 annual salary - excluding overtime
• Standard rate: £14.42 per hour
• Overtime: £21.63 per hour (Time & Half)
• Overtime paid after 10 hours
• If working a 12-hour shift, overtime is paid after 8 hours
• 50-hour standard working week
• 05:00-15:00 shifts
• 1-hour paid break
• Temp to Perm opportunity
• Ongoing, full-time work

THE ROLE
