Job description

About the role

We are seeking a Multi-drop Class 2 Driver to join Matthew Clark, delivering orders to customers in a courteous, safe, and timely manner, with assistance from a Driver's Mate.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak periods (e.g., Christmas, major sporting events).

You will deliver products within a designated area from the depot, ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly, careful, and punctual service.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of driving experience and be willing to undergo DVLA license checks.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Vehicle inspections
• Securing and preparing customer orders for delivery
• Coordinating with your Driver’s Mate on routes and orders
• Communicating delays or issues to customers
• Unloading orders at customer premises
• Handling returns of empty kegs and pallets
• Adhering to health and safety standards
• Completing paperwork, EPOD, and administrative tasks
• Complying with Tachograph legislation

About you

You possess over three years of driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving, with a valid HGV and CPC license. You excel in customer service, have strong communication skills, and are familiar with local roads. Experience with multi-drops is preferred but not essential; adaptability is key.
