Job summary

Movianto is hiring a Class 2 Driver in Tamworth on a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00–16:15, 42.5 hours per week. The role offers weekend-free work and an annual salary of £33,341.15, with benefits including discounted gym memberships, generous leave, pension contributions, and access to health services.

The successful candidate will travel within the distribution area, maintain vehicles, and represent Movianto at each drop-off point, upholding quality and safety standards in line with company

Qualifications

• Class 2 (C) licence and full UK driving licence required.
• Professional manner when dealing with customers at drop-off points.
• Flexibility to operate deliveries in other areas within the distribution region.

Responsibilities

• Operate Movianto vehicles with appropriate licences and adherence to tachograph rules.
• Be the face of the service at drop-off points, ensuring quality and care with every mile.
• Deliver to specified areas within the distribution network as required.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness for a professional image.

Purpose of the role

To carry out duties within MoviantoUK transport operations to a standard that satisfies MoviantoUK quality expectations. To follow the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and company requirements for the Health & Safety of yourself and others.

• By showing flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area.
• Carrying out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.

What it will take to thrive at as a Class 2 Driver at Movianto:

• Operating company vehicles providing appropriate licences (Class 2 (C) license and full UK drivers licence) and authorisations are current.
• Abiding by statutory and legal requirements with relation to driver's hours and tachograph regulations.
• Dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Wearing at all times safety and company uniforms as provided.
