Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver based in Stretford, England. This full-time, permanent position offers an annual salary of £49,962 and requires 48 hours of work per week on a 5 on 3 off shift pattern. You’ll deliver goods to Costa Coffee and work in compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a UK driving licence with category C entitlement and valid Driver Qualification and Tachograph Cards. Benefits include annual leave, overtime pay, and access to GXO University's training resources.

Qualifications

• Must have no more than 6 penalty points.
• No serious endorsements within the previous 5 years.
• Ability to work 48 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient goods to Costa Coffee stores (10 to 15 drops per shift).
• Operate vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork fully, accurately and on time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are committed to safe, compliant working practices. This is a demanding role with excellent rewards.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week over a 17-week period on the shift pattern of 5 on 3 off with the start time window of 17:00 – 20:00.

What you will do on a typical day

• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
