Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing shifts in Gloucestershire. Start times range from early morning (04:00–07:00) with 1–12 deliveries daily.

You will deliver to both residential and commercial customers, perform daily vehicle checks, and complete paperwork accurately. Applicants must hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence, CPC card, and tachograph card, with up to nine points allowed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence and CPC card.
• Digital tachograph knowledge and compliance are required.
• Maximum of 9 points on licence for minor offences.
• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Professional, customer-focused and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle and complete 1–12 deliveries daily.
• Deliver to residential and commercial customers and provide good service.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.

We're recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a well-established delivery company in Gloucester. Paying £15 to £16.81ph, with all hours worked and breaks fully paid, this role offers ongoing work, ad-hoc shifts, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right driver.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Start times between 04:00 and 07:00
• Completing 1 to 12 deliveries per day
• Delivering products to residential and commercial customers
• Heavy lifting and handball required
• Offloading products to the kerbside or designated delivery location only
• Providing excellent customer service
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 9 points for minor offences
