People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bredbury (SK6).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known bakery with plenty of ongoing work available.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• You will be delivering trays of bread to shops around the North West
• Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

As a Class 2 Driver you will need:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence (CLASS 2)
• Have an in-date UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• New passes are welcome.
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Experience operating various trailer types
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Effective communication skills
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles

Training

• Driving assessment must be completed prior to starting
• Two-day paid induction provided after successful assessment
