Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited in Staveley is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client and deliver building materials to builders' merchants, sites and occasional residential properties from early morning starts.

You will operate 12- and 18-tonne rigid curtain-sided trucks with minimal handball, training to handle up to seven drops per day, and you must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and Tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Confident navigating building sites and making deliveries safely.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 2 Driver - Staveley

PS Ltd are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Staveley. This role involves delivering building materials to builders' merchants and building sites, with minimal handball involved.

Pay Rates

• £16.00 per hour for the first 40 hours.

• £20.00 per hour after 40 hours.

• Weekly pay.

Shift Details

• 06:00 starts.

• Deliveries to builders' merchants, building sites and occasional residential properties.

• Up to approximately 7 drops per day once fully trained.

• Driving 12-tonne and 18-tonne rigid curtain-sided vehicles.

• Minimal handball, although some house deliveries will require manual handling.

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
