Job summary

Pure Staff Driving in Southampton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing work on a refrigerated goods route. Start times typically range from 03:00 to 06:00, with reliable shifts and a supportive environment.

You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries, load securing, and accurate recording of deliveries while maintaining a professional, customer-facing approach. Competitive hourly pay is offered with weekly pay.

Qualifications

HGV Class 2 Driver - Southampton

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with one of our valued clients based in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

The Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop work to customers across your designated route. Start times tend to be between 0300 and 0600am.

This role involves delivering refrigerated goods therefore candidates must be comfortable carrying out some handball, load securing and multi-drop delivery with a refrigerated vehicle .

This is a customer-facing role, requiring a professional attitude and excellent communication skills when representing both Pure Staff and our client.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Driver position you'll need:

• A valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence

Pay Rates

• £17 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)
• £19.05 per hour with holiday pay rolled-up
