Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Delivery Driver for a temporary ongoing role at Rugby Gateway. You will perform multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the UK, handle collections when required, and maintain high safety and customer service standards.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, a Digital Tachograph Card, good knowledge of UK road networks, and reliability. Overtime is paid after 9.6 hours, with a weekly pay cycle and free on-site parking.

Class 2 Delivery Driver – Temporary Ongoing

Location: Rugby Gateway
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Pay Rate: £17.31 per hour | £25.97 per hour after 9.6 hours worked (Time and a Half)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Delivery Driver to join a leading logistics company based at Rugby Gateway. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity offering regular work, weekly pay, and the potential for a long-term placement.

You’ll be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores nationwide, completing collections when required, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

The Role

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores across the UK.
• Carry out collections as required.
• Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
• Load and unload vehicles in line with health and safety procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at every delivery point.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Physically fit, as the role involves loading and unloading.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused with excellent time management skills.
