Job summary

The Staffing Network Limited in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our busy operation. You will deliver goods to businesses and private customers, and play a key role in loading and unloading, with a strong emphasis on manual handling.

The role requires a clean UK licence, valid Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and the ability to work 40 hours per week on mornings, across 5 days from 7, including weekends.

• Minimum 3 years Class 2 driving experience.

• Physically fit and able to handball and lift heavy loads.
• Reliable and flexible to working hours.

Class 2 Driver Peterborough

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a busy retail company based in Peterborough.

Requirements Mandatory & Non-Negotiable

• 3 years Class 2 driving experience
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Physically fit and able to handball and lift heavy loads
• Reliable and flexible approach to working hours

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
• Morning starts

Salary

£30,000 £35,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Role

Working for a busy retail company, you will be responsible for delivering goods to businesses and private customers.

The role involves more than just driving. You will also be required to load and unload vehicles, handball goods, and carry out physical work, including lifting heavier items when required.
