Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
• Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Responsibility for delivery of kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes, with a Driver’s Mate to assist
• Load and unload vehicle with assistance
• Carry out pre & post journey checks
• Ensure timely delivery to customers
• Follow delivery routes adhering to schedules
• Punctuality and excellent time management skills
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Experience with commercial vehicles or delivering large/bulky goods is beneficial
• Good customer service skills
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous

Training

• Driver's Assessment must be completed
• Paid training with an experienced crew after successful assessment
