Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver seeking a fresh new opportunity with no weekend work? This is a rare and exciting chance in the logistics industry!

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our dynamic team in Northampton. You will be delivering barrels and cases of drinks to pub cellars, working alongside a supportive driver’s mate. If you enjoy staying active, being on the move, and contributing to an essential service, this is the perfect role for you. Join us in helping to keep the drinks flowing and become a key member of a team where every delivery matters!

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 47 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 06:00am

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver barrels and cases of drinks to pub cellars, averaging 9 drops per day, while working closely with a driver’s mate to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
• Conduct vehicle checks, including opening curtain siders and inner curtains to prepare for smooth unloading
• Unload barrels from the vehicle and place them onto a mat for secure handling
• Roping and lowering barrels into cellars, ensuring safe and accurate placement
  
  
  

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• Less than 6 points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
