Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Motherwell

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Motherwell area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Days - Tuesday to Saturday, 05:00 am starts
• Nights - Sunday to Friday, 22:00 pm starts (every 2 weeks working 6 days)

Pay Rate:

• Days - £13.36 per hour PAYE (rising to £14.11 after 12 weeks)
• Nights - £14.38 per hour PAYE (rising to £15.08 after 12 weeks)

Motherwell, ML1

Job Type:

Ongoing with potential for permanent position for the right candidate

The Role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 4-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle as required.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C)
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
• Understanding of WTD legislation
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment
• Excellent communication skills
• Safety-first mindset
