Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet, delivering chilled, frozen and ambient goods to Costa Coffee stores, typically 10 to 15 drops per shift. You will operate vehicles safely, complete paperwork accurately and comply with driver hours and tachograph regulations.

This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £46,748 per year, overtime at time and a half, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, CPC training, pension, GP service and access to

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Card) and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points in the last 5 years
• Previous C‑class vehicle experience is desirable

Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, a leading name in supply chain solutions, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Drivers to become a part of our growing team in Sherburn in Elmet for our customer, the largest coffee shop chain in the UK, Costa Coffee. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are committed to safe, compliant working practices. This is a demanding role with excellent rewards.

You will be contracted to work an average of 48 hours per week over a 17-week period on the shift pattern of 5 on 3 off with the start time window of 18:00 – 22:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
